New Access Ramp for all Abilities

DESCRIPTION
APR Composites were commissioned by George Town Council to manufacture decking boards for a new beach access ramp. Treated pine balustrade and frame were specified, however, due to supply-demand, the entire structure was built from chemical-free and eco-friendly composite material.

CONSTRUCTION
Project completion January 2022.

PROJECT FACTS

8,500 kg of recycled plastic
8,500 kg of reclaimed non-treated timber
222,000 x 2 litre plastic milk bottles
500 cubic metres of plastic diverted from landfill
