Wetland Viewing Deck and Boardwalk

DESCRIPTION
A strong foundation is vital for open space infrastructure projects. APR Composites supplied material to the City of Burnside build a boardwalk sub-frame with mini-mesh for a wetland storm water catchment.

Built by Camco Construction | Project completion September 2018.

PROJECT FACTS

  • 4,100 kg of reclaimed non-treated timber consumed
  • 4,100 kg of recycled plastic consumed
  • = 107,000 x 2 litre plastic milk bottles
  • = 290 cubic metres of plastic diverted from landfill
